T he presence of the WHO Director-General highlights South Africa's alignment with the Global Strategy for the Elimination of Cervical Cancer, which aims to reduce incidence rates to below four per 100,000 women in every country.

The launch event, scheduled for 10:00 at the Moletsane Sports Complex, will bring together representatives of development partners, labour unions, civil society, and the private sector. The programme will be livestreamed on government digital platforms for those unable to attend in person.
